A Spinning Phenomenon

Dear Diary

If I told you you wouldn’t believe me so I’m writing it down. In my spinning class there is a poster boy who sits in the front row and with the best view. Of himself. In the mirror. He is dressed to the nines and in fine shape to boot. Eye candy for the ladies if you will. And himself. In the mirror. He proceeds to do his own routine and works up a glistening sweaty glow in no time which is noticeable for everyone. And himself. In the mirror. Then his best move happens mid-class – he removes his top and continues leading his virtual peloton in only his bib, a move that comes as a surprise to all who see it. Except himself. In the mirror. Training is not my forte but I can appreciate the importance of good form in cycling so it made sense to a degree that he was so focussed. On himself. In the mirror. What threw me was that his focus was equally as fixed – On himself. In the mirror. – during his resting periods. On the plus side, he made his grand exit just prior to our stretching or I swear I would have pulled a muscle holding back my laughter. Yip, he got off the bike, swept up his top then put it on in front of the class and left with a knowing glance. To himself. In the mirror.  Signed FatAtTheBack
